The switch uses a moving prism between fixed collimator pairs, which allows bi-directional operation independent of data rate and signal format. 9/125 and 62.5/125 ìm, 1 m long, jacketed fiber pigtails are available on all models. In addition, optional ST, FC and SC fiber connector termination options can be added. The 1x2 single-mode and multimode switches are two position devices that enable channel selection. These non-latching models require a 5V DC switching voltage. Applications include fiber and component testing and optical signal routing. The 2x2 single-mode and multimode switches are fully reversing optical bypass switches, which are used to insert or bypass nodes in fiber ring networks. These non-blocking, non-latching components require a 5V DC switching voltage. Applications include bypassing of FDDI and SONET network stations, automated and remote fiber test systems. • Single and multimode fiber optic switches • 1x2 and 2x2 configurations • Low insertion loss and low back-reflection • High durability — greater than 10 million cycles Dimensions 1x2 SM & MM Switch 2x2 SM & MM Switch 2.20 (56.0) .33 (8.4) 2 Holes, ø.126 (3.2) 2 Holes, M2 x .5 THD 1.024 (26.0) 1.26 (32.0) .131 (3.3) .236 (6.0) .63 (16.0) .787 (20.0) 2.402 (61.0) 1.575 (40.0) 2.64 (67.0) .30 (7.5) .30 (7.5) .385 (9.8) .131 (3.3) 2.047 (52.0) 1.575 (40.0) 2.64 (67.0) .906 (23.0) .236 (6.0) .272 (6.9) .63 (16.0) [in.
