We offer four standard coatings, covering the UV, visible, and IR. These mirrors are available in round sizes from 12.7–203.2 mm (0.5–8.0 in.) with Pyrex® or Zerodur® substrates and in two elliptical sizes with Pyrex® substrates. Specifications Diameter Tolerance [in. Ultrafast Mirrors Newport manufactures dielectric mirrors specifically designed to minimize pulse dispersion in ultrafast laser applications (see page 427). Our ER.2 or ER.4, protected silver or gold coatings, are excellent choices for lower-cost ultrafast applications because of its short skin depth (reducing dispersion) and its relatively high damage threshold. Please see page 520 for information on our economical VALUMAX® Broadband Metallic Mirrors.
