The Agilis™ Series Piezo Motor Driven Positioners by Newport are designed for precise and repeatable positioning in optical setups, offering high adjustment sensitivity and remote operation capabilities.
Product Overview
The series includes mirror mounts for 0.5” and 1” optics, linear stages, a rotation stage for polarization optics, and control electronics. Future expansions will include DUV-compatible mirror mounts, gimbal mounts, and lens positioners.

Technical Specifications
Agilis Motors: Non-resonant piezo direct motor with direct coupling, offering longer life, higher speeds, and freedom from backlash or hysteresis, with 50 nm incremental motion capability.
AG-M100 Mirror Mount: Less than 10 µrad drift over 13 hours, with a thermal tilt of 4 µrad/°C.
AG-LS25 Linear Stage: 12 mm travel, 0.05 µm minimum incremental motion, and a maximum speed of 0.5 mm/s without axial load.
AG-PR100 Rotation Stage: 360° continuous rotation with a minimum incremental motion of 5 µrad.
Applications
Ideal for stable, sensitive, small, and easy-to-adjust opto-mechanics, suitable for vacuum or clean room environments, with models tested up to 10-6 hPa vacuum.
