MPI-8 (MPI-8/4) EIGHT-CHANNELS (FOUR-CHANNELS) ELECTRONIC RECORDER Six different versions of measurement inputs Power supply for 0/4-20 mA analog inputs from device (only for version –P) Graphic LCD screen 32 x 128 points with white backlight Periodically displaying few or all measurement channels Data recording on removable SD/MMC card (electronic recorder) RS-485 communication port, ASCII and Modbus RTU protocols, software for visualization Ethernet port optionally, Modbus TCP protocol, data reading through web browser Alarm and control functions, 5 relay outputs 4-20 mA analog output optionally APPLICATIONS: Multipoint measurements of: temperature, humidity, pressure and other values with recording Work in distributed measurement systems with local record of measurement results Grocery, steel and glass-making industry, warehouses and production line control MPI-8 (MPI-8/4), 3.0 version – new, updated third generation, produced from years device: Applied graphic LCD screen allows visualization of large numbers and graphical presentation of measurement values in graph form, Input circuits were modernized, new options guarantee cheaper measurement ability in different temperature sensors configuration and 0/4-20 mA current loop signals Port with Modbus TCP protocol allows connecting device to industrial Ethernet networks, 4-20 mA analog output allows retransmission signal from one of measurement channel. MEASUREMENT DATA RECORDING Device allows electronic data registration of measurement values on removable SD/MMC memory card with up to 2 GB capacity. Card is in socked on device back plate. Data are stored until card is full or in continuously mode with overwriting oldest records. Recording speed is set by user in wide range: from 3 seconds to 24 hours. Recording can be done with two independent speeds switched when measurement value exceeds alarm level. Copy data to computer can be done in two ways: through RS-485 or Ethernet port or by plug out memory card and reading stored data using card reader directly connected with computer. On card data are stored in text format and can be opened with the text editor, spreadsheet or easy in use MPI-8v3-Raport program. Program allows data selection, averaging, looking for minimum and maximum, browsing and printing reports in graph and table form. User can also read data “online” and show them in graph, table or synoptic screen form, with a draw or picture on background.

RS-485 SERIAL PORT, ETHERNET PORT In standard version device has RS-485 communication port, it allows settings configuration from computer and read measured and recorded values. Transmission is in compliance with Modbus RTU standard or in ASCII code. It guarantee communication with other universal control and visualization systems. Optionally Ethernet port is available. It allows work in industrial networks with Modbus TCP protocol and read measurement values by SCADA type programs. Results may be also browse in table form and in trend form through standard web browser. ALARM – CONTROL...
