Product catalog summary
Overview: This document provides technical specifications for halogen-free, flame-retardant control signal and data transfer cables, specifically the H 24/20 and H 24/20 C models. These cables are designed to be environmentally friendly and safe in the event of a fire, producing minimal smoke and non-aggressive combustion products.
Specifications:
  • Fire Safety: Complies with DIN VDE 0472 Part 804 Test Type B and IEC 332/1 standards.
  • Materials: Made from recyclable polymer materials, with a halogen-free, flame-retardant polyolefin mixture for core insulation and outer jacket.
  • Conductor Details: Tinned copper strand with AWG 24 (7 x 0.20 mm ø) and AWG 20 (7 x 0.32 mm ø).
  • Core Colors: Includes a variety of colors for easy identification, such as black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, grey, white, white/black, and white/brown.
  • Electrical Properties: Rated voltage of 300/300 V, with conductor resistance of 93.3 Ω/km max for AWG 24 and 34.3 Ω/km max for AWG 20.
  • Temperature Range: Operational temperature up to +70°C, short circuit temperature up to +150°C, and surface temperature range from -30 to 70°C when moving, -50 to 70°C when permanently installed.
  • Bending Radius: Once only ≤ 5 x external diameter, repeated ≤ 20 x external diameter.
  • Tensile Load: Maximum 50 N/mm² when installing, 15 N/mm² in operation.
Ordering Information: Cables are available in 100-meter rings, with short samples (20 cm) provided free of charge. Pricing is provided per 100 meters, with variations based on shielding and conductor specifications.
Additional Features: The cables are suitable for insulation displacement connectors (IDC) and feature a matte black outer jacket with printed labeling for easy identification.

Reliable Fire safety class DIN VDE 0472 / Part 804 / Test Type B , IEC 332/1 These halogen-free, flame-retardant and low smoke control signal and data transfer cables have largely the same electrical and mechanical properties as our PVC-insulated control signal cables which have proven themselves for many years, and are presented on pages 98 to 107 of this manual. The advantage of these cables is in their use of environmentally-friendly recyclable polymer materials. In the event of a fire, no aggressive combustion products (little smoke formation, low toxicity and corrosiveness of the combustion gases). Flame-retardant properties of the cable comply with DIN VDE 0472 Part 804 Test Type B.
