Introduction
The PS family of power sources is designed to provide stable AC and voltage sources for electricity meter test equipment. The PS1(H) is for single-phase systems, while the PS3(H) is for three-phase systems. Key components include the Voltage Integrated Source (VIS), Current Integrated Source (CIS), and the ACU control unit.
Operational Highlights
The PS power sources use DSP-controlled digital feedback loops for stability, quick parameter setup, and low distortion. They can manage direct loads with various characteristics without external load compensators. The system supports a broad range of output voltages and currents, phase angle settings, and harmonics generation, ensuring efficient testing of all energy meter types. Multilevel protection ensures reliability and safety, while PWM technology in power amplifiers enhances efficiency and reduces thermal losses.
Harmonics Ability
Standard PS versions generate harmonics up to the 21st order, while enhanced versions (marked H) can generate up to the 41st order.
ACU Control Unit
The ACU-3000 (three-phase) or ACU-1000 (single-phase) control units manage short circuit detection, emergency switches, tariff systems, and dangerous voltage signaling.
