The ASTeL family of meter test equipment is a fully automatic system designed for the calibration and verification of electric energy meters. Supported Meters
The system can test a wide range of meters including active/reactive energy meters, electromechanical and electronic meters, multi-tariff meters, prepaid meters, smart meters, and more. Custom meter support is available upon request.
Supported Tests
ASTeL performs various tests such as basic error, starting current, no-load run, energy register testing, maximum demand indicator testing, pulse output checking, and more. Custom tests can be added upon request.
General Composition
The system is modular, consisting of a power source, reference standard, suspension rack, and Windows® based software. It supports both single and three-phase configurations.
Power Source
Available in single and three-phase with different output powers and harmonics capabilities.
Reference Standard
Available with accuracy levels of 0.04, 0.02, and 0.01 for both single and three-phase.
Suspension Rack
Offers various test positions, manual or pneumatic clamping, and optional IP separating transformers.
Software
Features wizards, libraries, automatic adjustment routines, and reporting. Custom features can be added.
Harmonics Ability
Standard versions generate harmonics up to the 21st order, while enhanced versions (H) generate up to the 41st order.
