VALVES SERIES BASIC

Product catalog summary
Components: The BASIC series valves are composed of several key components including an anodized aluminium valve body, plastic control/end cap, chemically nickel-plated aluminium spool, plastic distance plates, NBR gaskets, Hostaform® pistons, NBR piston gaskets, special steel springs, and a brass pipe with a stainless steel core operator.
Specifications: These valves are available in sizes 1/8” and 1/4” with versions including 3/2 monostable, 5/2 monostable, and 5/2 bistable. The operating pressure for monostable is 2.5 to 10 bar and for bistable is 1 to 10 bar. The operating temperature range is from -10°C to +60°C. The nominal diameter is 5 mm for 1/8” and 7.5 mm for 1/4”. Flow rates at 6 bar with a differential pressure of 0.5 bar are 400 Nl/min for 1/8” and 750 Nl/min for 1/4”.
Technical Data: The valves operate with coil voltage values of 12; 24 VDC and 24; 110; 220V AC 50/60Hz, with a power of 2 W (DC) and 3.5VA (AC). Voltage tolerance is between -10% to +15%, and the insulation class is F 155. The maximum coil nut torque is 1 Nm. The valves can be installed in any position, although vertical assembly is not recommended for bistable valves subjected to vibration. The fluid used should be filtered air without lubrication, or continuous lubrication if used.
Accessories: Multiple bases are available for both 1/8” and 1/4” valves, ranging from 2 to 10 positions, each supplied with screws and gaskets. Gasket kits are also available for both sizes.
Flow Charts and Codes: The document provides flow charts for both 1/8” and 1/4” valves, along with specific codes and weights for different configurations such as monostable and bistable versions.

VALVES SERIES BASIC-1

VALVES SERIES BASIC The valves in the BASIC series are a numerically-reduced selection of some types of the most commonly used solenoid valves. They come in sizes 1/8" and 1/4" and in the 3/2 monostable, 5/2 monostable and 5/2 bistable versions. Some production processes have been simplified, without affecting product quality and performance. The body is made of anodized aluminium (without painting) and controls are in dark grey technopolymer. BASIC valves can be assembled with accessories of other families of valves, in particular with 22 mm coils, a 8 mm hole and related connectors, modular bases and the multi-position connectors of the series 70 valves.
