Overview
Metex offers shielded braided sleeving and rope designed for applications requiring shielding, temperature or abrasion protection, and other critical needs. These products are made from materials such as Polyester, Nylon, Fiberglass, Teflon®, Kevlar®, and other manmade fibers.

Shielded Braided Sleeving
The sleeving is flexible, allowing it to fit over hoses and cables while providing a secure cover. It is used in various industries, including oil refineries and the wire and cable industry, for insulation and protection. Available sizes range from 1/8" to 24" inside diameter, with custom designs available.

Shielded Braided Rope
Metex's braided rope is strong and flexible, suitable for gaskets and seals. It can be manufactured to meet high strength, abrasion protection, and high-temperature requirements. Available in diameters from .04" to 4" and in various configurations.
