TANK WITH CYCLONIC FILTERS In the tank with cyclonic filters the liquid is forced into a vortical motion and, using the resulting centri- fugal force, the particles of impurities are separated from the coolant. Service electrical pumps are fitted in the part of the tank reserved for the liquid that has already been filtered, these pumps vary according to the client's requirements, and allow the filtered solution to return to the machine tool. The electrical inlet pumps make the dirty coolant pass through the hydrocyclones for filtration. The tank has a pre-filtration basket in perforated sheet metal. This system is recommended especially in cases in which there are large quantities of coolant to be filtered and the emulsions do not account for more TfiMK WITH CARTRIDGE FILTER5 In filtration systems that use cartridge filters, before the liquid is used, it passes through some filters (up to c?5 microns) which, in order to avoid machine downtime, can be connected in parallel using clog- ging warnings to redirect the liquid into the clean filter.
