Taïga S ingle Features • • • • shot autocorrelator 750 TO 950 NM SPECTRAL RANGE 30 FS TO 1 PS PULSE DURATION RANGE 10 TO 100 µJ INPUT BEAM ENERGY 10 HZ TO 10 kHz LASER REPETITION RATE • SHORT PULSE DURATION MEASUREMENT Ideal for Ultimate Pulse Duration Measurement Operating at rates from 10 Hz to 10kHz, TAIGA is an autocorrelator used for short pulse duration measurement. Its measurement principle is the following: it is transforming the temporal shape of the pulse into a spatial shape which can be analyzed by a spatial detector. A beam splitter is separating the analyzed beam, a set of mirrors and optical delay line length is generating a temporal shift on one beam. The two beams are then recombined in the focal plane of a focusing lens. The intensities of the two beams are I(t) and I(t-τ), where t is the temporal optical shift between the beams. A doubling crystal is placed at the lens focal plane, where the second harmonic of the incident beams is created. This is why it is a so-called “second order” autocorrelator. The intensity of the second harmonic beam is proportional to the product of the I(t) and I(t-τ). The second harmonic signal is recorded with a slow response time detector which temporal response is given by the autocorrelation function of I(t). Assuming a Gaussian pulse shape, the pulse half maximum temporal width is given by : Δτ = Δτ (autoco) /√2 where Δτ(autoco) is the autocorrelation width at half maximum. A full supervision single software allows display of the autocorrelation trace I(t).
