Overview
Menardi / Pneumafil Pneuma-Pulse™ Up-and-Over filter cartridges are designed for pulse-type gas turbine air inlet systems. They are available in twist-lock or crank mount designs and come in three lengths: 22”, 26”, and 34”. The filter media options include 100% cellulose, a cellulose/polyester blend, and 100% synthetic materials.

  • 100% Cellulose: Basis weight of 78 lb/3,000 ft² (126 g/m²), caliper of 0.030 in (0.76 mm), corrugation depth of 0.015 in (0.38 mm), CFM/ft² at 0.5 in H2O is 15, Frazier permeability of 112 l/sec/m² at 20mm H2O, Mullen burst dry psi of 50 (344 kPa), temperature limit of 200 ºF (93 ºC).
  • 80% Cellulose / 20% Polyester: Basis weight of 80 lb/3,000 ft² (130 g/m²), caliper of 0.027 in (0.69 mm), corrugation depth of 0.017 in (0.43 mm), CFM/ft² at 0.5 in H2O is 14, Frazier permeability of 112 l/sec/m² at 20mm H2O, Mullen burst dry psi of 50 (344 kPa), temperature limit of 200 ºF (93 ºC).
  • 100% Synthetic: Basis weight of 70 lb/3,000 ft² (114 g/m²), caliper of 0.026 in (0.66 mm), corrugation depth of 0.007 in (0.17 mm), CFM/ft² at 0.5 in H2O is 20, Frazier permeability of 158 l/sec/m² at 20mm H2O, Mullen burst dry psi of 70 (483 kPa), temperature limit of 275 ºF (135 ºC).
Performance Data
  • Average atmospheric dust spot efficiency ranges from 94.0% to 97.0% depending on the media type.
  • Average AC fine dust weight arrestance is 100% for all media types.
  • Dust spot efficiency at 1 in. WG ranges from 90.0% to 94.0%, at 2 in. WG from 97.0% to 98.6%, and at 3 in. WG from 98.5% to 99.5%.
Construction Details
  • Dimensions: 12 ¾” x 34”, 26”, or 22” L.
  • Liners: Made of galvanized expanded metal.
  • Media: Pleated with pleat spacer dimpling; pleat tips are bonded to inner and outer liners for stability.
  • End caps: Galvanized metal with media pleat pack fully encapsulated in potting compound. Twist lock retaining device incorporated into open end.
  • Gasket: Molded Isoprene.
