Media Specifications
Three types of filter media are available: 100% Cellulose, 80% Cellulose/20% Polyester blend, and 100% Synthetic. Key specifications include basis weight, caliper, corrugation depth, airflow rate (CFM/ft2 at 0.5 in H2O), Frazier permeability, Mullen burst strength, and temperature limits. The 100% Synthetic media offers the highest temperature limit of 275ºF (135ºC) and the highest Mullen burst strength of 70 psi (483 kPa).
Performance Data
The filters demonstrate high efficiency in dust spot efficiency and arrestance. The 100% Synthetic media shows the highest average atmospheric dust spot efficiency at 97% and maintains high efficiency across various pressure drops (1 in. WG to 3 in. WG).
Description
The Menardi/Pneumafil Pneuma-Pulse™ Cross-Flow filter cartridges are designed for pulse-type gas turbine air inlet systems. They are available in tripod or twist-lock mount designs and offer various media options including 100% cellulose, cellulose/polyester blend, and 100% synthetic.
Construction
The cartridges are constructed with galvanized expanded metal liners and pleated media with pleat spacer dimpling. The pleat tips are bonded to inner and outer liners for stability. End caps are made of galvanized metal, and the media pleat pack is fully encapsulated in a potting compound. The gasket is made of molded Isoprene. Dimensions available are 12 ¾” x 34”, 26”, or 22” L.
