DATA SHEET Piezoelectric Accelerometer Type CA 164 CHARACTERISTICS High temperature capability -70°C to +350°C Operational as loose part monitoring accelerometer Easy mounting with differential stud MA 116 and MA123 Cobalt free Will meet NRC guide 1.133, DIN 25.471.1 IEEE 323-1974 Proven reliability Internal case insulation Frequency response: 1 Hz to 10,000 Hz Sensitivity 20 pC/g The CA 164 accelerometer has a centre mounted symmetrical compression mode polycristalline element. The transducer is designed for long-term loose part monitoring or development testing. It is fitted with an integral mineral insulated cable (twin conductors) which is terminated with a VM Lemo connector for use with differential charge converters. Another version offered has a triax integral mineral insulated cable terminated with a LEMO triax connector. WEIGHT Accelerometer Integral cable Direction of acceleration to provide a positive signal 1 Mounting configuration with stud Type MA 109 P/N 809-109-000-011 Nominal mounting torque: 5.5 Nm ±0.5 Nm (48.67IN-LB) Mating connector: 144-164-000-0X, Lemo 2 pole type FDS 302 N for twin cable, screen connected. 144-164-000-1X, Lemo triax type FFA.OS.650.CLAC 27 for coax cable O.D. 2.2 mm 2 Mounting configuration with differential stud 2c Position the assembly 2b on the thread of the structure. Make sure the position of the vibration transducer is approximately 15 degrees before its final position. Hold the vibration transducer and turn the knurled ring clockwise until it butts. Apply a torque of 5.5 Nm ±0.5 Nm (48.67IN-LB) to the vibration transducer (not to the knurled ring). Screw the differential stud into the
