- Flocked swabs are non-toxic to viruses and free from DNA and RNA, enhancing PCR test accuracy.
- Swabs are made with ABS handles and flocked tips, featuring 30mm and 80mm break points.
- Tubes are made of polypropylene, resistant to high temperatures (121°C for 15 minutes) and low temperatures (-80°C).
- VTM tubes with virus samples are placed in biosafety bags for secure transport.
- Inactivated: Contains Tris base, detergent, phenol RVC, dithiothreitol (DTT), Proteinase K, and other components.
- Non-Inactivated: Contains Eagle's base culture solution (MEM) or Hank's equilibrium salt, with added salts, amino acids, vitamins, glucose, and proteins for virus survival.
