The Cord Value RPP-Steel is a new generation of open end rubber timing belt, manufactured with a high performing EPDM rubber compound, and an innovative production process. RPP STEEL withstands chemically aggressive environments, provides a great abrasion, superior wear resistance and an extended range of working temperatures. Powered by steel cord reinforcement, RPP Steel provides the maximum traction load and resistance. RPP Steel is interchangeable with existing drives and pulleys. It is available in 8M or 14M pitch. The Cord Value STEEL CORD, STRONGEST CORE The reinforcement is achieved by a multiple strands of high-strength, high-modulus steel cord of “S” and “Z” torsions. These are vulcanised into one homogenous unit within the EPDM. This enhances the tensile strength and resists flexfatigue forces, while the use of alternate torsions grant always an optimal belt tracking on the drive HIGHER EFFICIENCY The steel cord reinforcement returns high traction loads and resistance.
