Product catalog summary
Introduction
The SpeedDri™ is an innovative in-booth drying system designed to expedite the drying process for waterborne paint jobs using compressed air. It offers a cost-effective alternative to traditional drying systems and is adaptable to various drying needs.

Global Reach and Quality Assurance
Meech, the manufacturer of SpeedDri, operates globally with headquarters in the UK and offices in the USA, Belgium, Hungary, and China. The company ensures high-quality standards, certified by ISO90001 and other international standards, guaranteeing reliable and safe products.

Waterborne Paint and Environmental Considerations
Waterborne paints are favored for their lower VOC emissions, reduced toxicity, and superior finish compared to solvent-based paints. Effective drying requires proper spray booth conditions, including adequate air movement.

Drying Challenges and Solutions
Waterborne paints dry through water evaporation, a slower process than solvent-based paints. The SpeedDri system accelerates drying by directing air over the painted surface, significantly reducing drying times.

System Features and Benefits
The SpeedDri system employs Air Amplifier technology to deliver high-volume air over surfaces without additional power or wiring. It features 14 drop points for flexible configuration and can be installed in 4-5 hours. The system is maintenance-free, enhances safety by eliminating cumbersome equipment, and connects to existing compressed air supplies.

Case Studies
Cotswold Accident Repairs: Achieved a 70% reduction in drying times, enhancing throughput and efficiency.
DJW Coachworks: Provided a cost-effective solution, enabling simultaneous operation of two booths and boosting productivity.

Performance and Efficiency
Tests indicate a 63% reduction in drying time compared to traditional methods. The system's Air Amplifiers are efficient, using minimal compressed air while delivering substantial airflow.

Conclusion
The SpeedDri system offers a flexible, efficient, and cost-effective solution for drying waterborne paints, improving productivity and reducing environmental impact.
Overview: The document outlines technical specifications and operational guidelines for the SpeedDri system, a vehicle drying solution utilizing Air Amplifiers. It includes adjustable settings, technical specifications, parts lists, and additional products offered by Meech International.
Adjustable Settings: The SpeedDri system allows for adjustable air speed and volume through changes in input air pressure or adjustments on individual Air Amplifiers. There are three factory-calibrated settings: Setting 1 (lowest consumption, slowest speed), Setting 2 (medium performance), and Setting 3 (highest consumption, fastest speed). Adjustments are made by aligning the barrel with marked lines on the amplifier body.
Technical Specifications: The system's air consumption and speed vary based on the setting and inlet pressure. At maximum pressure (2.0 bar), the system consumes approximately 48 cfm. Performance tables provide detailed consumption and speed data at various pressures for each setting.
Parts List: The SpeedDri system is delivered as a kit with components such as ball valves, filter regulators, connectors, and pipes. Additional parts and tools are available for purchase to enhance or assist with installation.
Additional Products: Meech offers other products for static control and automotive refinishing, including the Meech 954 Gun, 904 Power Unit, and 983v2 Digital Static Locator. These products address static-related issues and improve operational efficiency.
Contact Information: The document provides contact details for Meech International offices in the UK, USA, Belgium, Hungary, and China.

History Over the last decade the car refinishing industry has been under increasing pressure to reduce Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions. Governments around the World are now taking an environmental approach in passing laws restricting the quantity of VOC emissions. This legislation is now making it necessary for paint technicians to switch to compliant coatings, which has meant switching to waterborne paint. Waterborne Paint Waterborne paint is now the “norm” in all but a few paint shops in both Europe and North America and is quickly becoming standard around the rest of the world. There...

How does it work? The SpeedDri runs solely on compressed air utilising Air Amplifier technology to blow a high volume stream of air over the painted surface. No other power is needed and no electrical wiring is involved in any part of the system. The air is circulated to the SpeedDri directly from the existing compressed air supply via a ball valve and pressure regulator. A ring main is then fitted discreetly above the ceiling and filters. 14 bayonet drop points are fitted through the ceiling of the booth. These points act as an anchor for the Air Amplifier drops that expel air over the painted...
