Ultramec™ 6 series switch 6C low profile Ultramec™ is a new switch series from MEC Switches. First one out of the pipeline is Ultramec 6C, which is a high performance low profile tactile switch. The new switch has smaller dimensions than the previous range of Multimec® switches and significantly lower height of 2.5mm. With IP67 sealing and long lifetime of 3 million cycles as well as high temperature housing Ultramec™ 6C can be relied upon in rough environments. The simple design makes it also a good option for under foil solutions. Ultramec™ switches have surface mounted terminals, J-bend version. In addition to the switch series a new 11.5mm round concave keycap is launched. It is a simple and aesthetic cap specifically designed for Ultramec™ 6C. 10G cap mounted on a 6C switch is the lowest solution in MEC product range with a total height of 4.9mm. The cap series is available in 7 standard solid colours.
