The trip level is preset at factory and relay will operate when insulation is below trip level after a delay of 2-5 seconds. Relay is fail-safe and energises when powered. Link terminal 15 and 16 to make a nonlatching relay. KRM161-DC unit injects a DC voltage signal into the monitored network and measure the earth leakage flow to the ground. Only one unit can be connected to each isolated system. Terminal 1 and 2 must be disconnected when network is powered.
