INSULATION RELAY FOR INACTIVE NON-LIVE DC SYSTEMS KRM161-DC • Insulation “megger” for non grounded non-live DC circuits • 0-110VDC system voltage • “IDV” measuring principle • For use in land, marine and offshore for alarm-lamps, Lantern, DC motors etc. Specifications Auxiliary Voltage: 100-120, 200-240, 380-415V or 440-460VAC, 40-70Hz (Fuse 0,5A) Monitored voltage: Contact Rating: KRM161-DC monitors resultant insulation level between a non-grounded non-live DC network and its protective earth. The trip level is preset at factory and relay will operate when insulation is below trip level after a delay of 2-5 seconds. Relay is fail-safe and energises when powered. Link terminal 15 and 16 to make a nonlatching relay. KRM161-DC unit injects a DC voltage signal into the monitored network and measure the earth leakage flow to the ground. Only one unit can be connected to each isolated system. Terminal 1 and 2 must be disconnected when network is powered. (Others available on request) Temperature: Weight: Front protection: Unit meets IEC60092-504 and relevant environmental and EMC tests specified in IEC60068/60092 and IEC61000/60533 respectively, to comply with Classification Societies requirements. Note: Link terminal 15 & 16 for automatic reset REF: Datasheet.KRM161-DC - REV: 1.01 / 03.2011 Megacon reserves the right to make any changes to the information at any time
