Gas & steam turbines DESCRIPTION The CPP-xxx capacitive proximity transducer is a highly accurate and versatile non-contact measurement device for monitoring shaft vibration and position in rotating machines. This series of transducers is designed to measure displacements in three different ranges: 0.22.2mm, 0.4-4.4mm or 0.4-6.4mm, providing flexibility for different applications. The transducer's sensitivity ranges from 2.67 µA/µm to 8 µA/µm, depending on the measurement range. The output range is 4.0-20.0 mA, providing a reliable signal for monitoring purposes. The transducer has a high level of linearity within ±2% to ±6% deviation from a straight line, ensuring accurate measurements. It has a repeatability of less than 0.2%, and a frequency response of 0 to 1.0kHz, which is suitable for measuring high-frequency vibrations in rotating machines. The transducer is not sensitive to the type of target material as long as it is conductive. It is designed for operation in a temperature range of -25°C to 85°C and has an IP67 ingress protection rating, making it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. The sensor is powered with +24V industry-standard.
