Introduction
The Universal BACnet Router (UBR | LON) is designed to facilitate communication between BACnet over LonTalk and BACnet/IP, providing an economical solution for property operators to integrate facility engineering with modern IP technology.

Specifications
The UBR | LON operates on a voltage of +12 to +24V DC or 12 to 24V AC, with a power consumption of 2.2 watts. It weighs 300 grams and measures 100 mm in height, 48 mm in width, and 70 mm in depth. The device is suitable for ambient temperatures between 0 to 45°C and humidity levels of 20 to 80% non-condensing. It is designed for DIN top-hat rail assembly and complies with IP20 protection class.

Functionality
The UBR | LON supports variable routing between three bus protocols: BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, and BACnet over LonTalk. This allows for flexible data packet transportation across these protocols, ensuring seamless integration and communication.

Investment Protection
The router provides investment protection by allowing property operators to continue using existing control components when transitioning to VoIP, thus linking decentralized automation with modern IP telephony.

Technical Features
The device includes a 10/100 MBit Ethernet connection, RS485 isolated input, and various LED indicators for power, data transmission, and status. It also features a dip switch for RS485 bias voltage and a terminating resistor.

LED Indicators
The LON Status LED indicates the node status, with signals for communication errors, driver installation, and normal operation.
