Overview: This document provides detailed specifications for cutting various types of stainless and mild steel using the MFSC-1500 laser cutting machine. It includes parameters such as material thickness, cutting speed, nozzle type, power, focus, gas type and pressure, cutting height, and punching details.
Stainless Steel Cutting Specifications:- 304 Stainless Steel: Thickness ranges from 1mm to 3mm. Cutting speeds vary from 4 to 30 m/min with a single nozzle and 100% power. Nitrogen (N2) is used as the cutting gas with pressures between 1.50 to 2.00 Mpa. Focus adjustments range from 0 to -4 mm.
- 305 Stainless Steel: For 4mm thickness, a speed of 2 m/min is used with similar settings as 304 but with a secondary punching method.
- 306 Stainless Steel: For 5mm and 6mm thicknesses, speeds of 1.1 and 0.8 m/min are used respectively, with secondary punching and similar gas settings.
Mild Steel Cutting Specifications:- Thickness ranges from 3mm to 16mm. Cutting speeds decrease as thickness increases, starting from 3 m/min for 3mm to 0.5 m/min for 16mm. A double nozzle is used with 100% power and oxygen (O2) as the cutting gas at 0.90 Mpa pressure. Focus is set at 0 to 4 mm depending on thickness.
- Punching methods vary from direct to progressive, with air pressures and frequencies adjusted accordingly.
General Recommendations: For thick materials, a cutting speed variation of ±0.3 is acceptable.
