What’s new in this release?

Ancillary Data Transmission: Supports passthrough of 608/708 closed captioning and SCTE 104 signals in SRT or MPEG-2 TS streams, following the MPEG-2 ST-2038 specification.
Web-Based Firmware Updates: Firmware can now be updated directly through the Monarch EDGE Command Center.
MPEG-2 TS to SRT Conversion: Supports converting MPEG-2 TS streams to SRT for transmission.
Logo and Watermark Insertion: Allows adding logos and graphics to streams.
SRT Protocol Update: Now supports version 1.5.1 of the SRT protocol for improved performance.
RTP Packet Transport: Supports transporting MPEG-2 TS streams via RTP.

This release also resolves specific customer issues, enhances compatibility with supported applications, and improves product stability.

Known issues

The Monarch EDGE Decoder does not decode streams with B frames for native 1080i @ 29.97 fps or 1080i @ 25 fps content. Progressive formats with B frames are supported. (MN-918)
CBR streaming may not work for video-only streams. (MN-1882)
Disabling and re-enabling the SDI input of an RTMP stream reverts the Audio source to None, requiring manual reset to the original setting. (MN-1906)
Do not use a static IP address ending in “1” as these are typically reserved for network gateways. (MN-2153)
