Plate heat

Plate heat

Product catalog summary
Application: The explosion-proof heating plates are designed for heating technical gases in potentially explosive areas. They stabilize the internal pressure of gas bottles by transferring heat through direct contact between the heater's upper surface and the bottle's bottom. This process ensures constant internal pressure even in low external temperatures, optimizing gas consumption and allowing complete emptying of the bottles.
Technical Data:
  • Armoured electric heater annealed inside an aluminum-cast plate.
  • Thermally insulated lower side of the plate.
  • Aluminum-cast electric contact box with IP65 protection.
  • Installation is horizontal on flat surfaces.
  • Maximum allowable weight is 100 Kg.
Equipment Certification: The heater is certified by CESI according to EN 50014 / EN 50018 specifications, classified as II 2G EExd IIC T4. The internal contact box temperature is maintained below 116 °C. The certificate is valid for Class I / Zone 1 or 2 environments, with an ambient temperature range of -20 °C to +40 °C and a maximum operating temperature of 99 °C. The certification reference is CESI 01 ATEX 068 X.

/^STfyfiTT _PLATE HEAT - EXPLOSION PROOF HEATING PLATES \/\/ Application: Heating of Technical Gases in Potentially Explosive Areas HEATING PLATES This family of heaters has been designed to stabilise the internai pressure of technical gas bottles. Heat transfer is by direct contact between the heater upper surface and the bottle bottom. The heat is transferred from the bottle to the gas, thus keeping the internal pressure constant also in the cases where the external temperature is low. In addition, the use of this type of heater allows to optimise gas consumption and to empty completely the bottles, limiting to the minimum the gas residuals remaining inside the bottle. These gases, without the support of the heater, would remain unused due to insufficient internal pressure.
