Product Overview
The TDU Series is a versatile single timer that replaces forty-eight industry standard devices. It offers four wide delay ranges and six common modes of operation, functioning on both AC and DC supply voltages. The CMOS digital circuitry ensures high accuracy, repeatability, and fast reset times. The heavy-duty relays are rated for continuous operation at 10 amps. Programming is easily accomplished externally using jumpers between designated base pins.
Wiring and Operation
  • Caution: Do not program with power on. Wire for one timing range only.
  • Interval Mode: Relay energizes when voltage is applied; de-energizes after delay period. Reset by removing supply voltage.
  • ON-Delay Mode: Delay begins when power is applied; relay energizes after delay. Reset by removing input voltage.
  • OFF-Delay Mode: Voltage is continuously applied; controlled by an external switch. Relay de-energizes after delay period when switch is opened.
  • Single-Shot Mode: Controlled by an external switch; relay energizes and delay begins when switch is closed.
  • Flasher Modes: Alternates between ON and OFF times, cycling continues until supply voltage is removed.

WIRE FOR ONE TIMING RANGE ONLY! 4 different ranges can be obtained by either leaving 2 designated terminals unconnected or by connecting them to the appropriate terminals shown below. Because the Time Delay programming is the same regardless of the mode of operation only the wiring connections affecting the Time Delay are shown here. INTERVAL: When voltage is applied to the input terminals, the relay energizes and the time delay begins. Upon completion of...
