The rotor of the generator uni t should be mounted to the t rue center of the shaf t wi th ext reme care, par t icularly in higher speed applicat ions . The relat ively small iner t ia of the rotor makes i t possible to secure i t to the shaf t wi th a right hand thread regardless of the direct ion of rotat ion. I t is recommended that a steel screw having an SAE thread be used to permi t maximum t ightening.
