Construction and Materials:
The frame and shield are made of cast iron, while the shaft is made of carbon steel. The main terminal box is also cast iron. The fan materials vary by frame size and pole count, including thermoplastic reinforced with glass fibers, metallic polyamide, and aluminum alloy.
Cooling System:
The standard cooling system is IC 411, with an option for IC 416 for variable speed applications. The degree of protection is IP 55, with availability up to IP 65.
Stator/Rotor Core:
The stator and rotor cores are laminated and enamel-insulated to minimize eddy current losses. The stator winding uses flat or round copper wire, and the rotor can be a short circuit type with aluminum or copper bar construction.
Bearings:
Motors are equipped with single-row deep groove ball bearings. Bearings up to 132 frame size are lubricated for life, while larger sizes have regreasable bearings. SPM nipples for vibration monitoring are standard from 355 frame size.
Impregnation and Insulation System:
The stator is VPI treated with polyester amide resin, and the insulation system is F class, with H class available on request.
Optional Features:
Options include reinforced insulation for frequency converters, dual/multiple winding configurations, special shaft ends, increased protection degree, encoders, vibration sensors, special frame designs, and insulated bearings.
