Overview: The B4W motor series is designed for industrial applications, particularly in harsh environments. It offers a power range up to 5,100 kW and supports voltages up to 690 V. The motors are suitable for sectors such as cement, chemical, manufacturing, metals, mining, pulp and paper, sugar mills, and water treatment.
Specifications:- Power: LV 300 ÷ 6000 kW, HV/MV 250 ÷ 5500 kW
- Frame Size: 355 ÷ 800
- Poles: 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12
- Cooling: IC 611 (IC 616 optional)
- Protection: IP 55
- Enclosure: TEAAC (Totally Enclosed Air to Air Cooled)
Cooling System: The motors use a closed machine cooling system with a mounted heat exchanger, utilizing air as both primary and secondary coolant. This system is ideal for locations with limited access to cooling water.
Protection and Insulation: The motors are protected against dust and splashing water, with an insulation system available in Class F or H. Protective treatments include VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) and special treatments for corrosive environments.
Mechanical Characteristics:- Stator/Rotor Core: Laminated and enamel-insulated to minimize eddy-current losses.
- Rotor: Squirrel cage type, with options for solid or welded ribbed shaft construction.
- Bearings: Antifriction bearings with grease or oil lubrication, designed for a lifetime exceeding 50,000 hours, extendable to over 100,000 hours on request.
Optional Features: The B4W series offers various optional features, including increased protection degree up to IP56, special shaft designs, vibration sensors, reinforced winding for VFD operation, and more.
