Specifications:
The B4V B4VH model offers power up to 10,000 kW and voltages up to 15,000 V. It features a frame size of 355 ± 1,000 and is available with 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 poles. The cooling system is IC 81W, with an optional IC 86W, and the standard IP protection is IP 55, with IP 56 as an option.
Main Applications:
This model is suitable for various industrial sectors, including cement, chemical, manufacturing processes, metals, mining, power, pulp and paper, sugar mills, and water pumping and treatments.
Performance:
At 50 Hz, the power ranges from 3,900 kW to 5,600 kW depending on the number of poles. At 60 Hz, the power ranges from 4,500 kW to 6,400 kW.
Construction:
The housing is made of rigid, rugged welded steel with side ribs for strength. The shield is made of grey cast-iron for motors up to 500 frame size and hot-rolled structural steel for sizes 560 and above. The shaft is cylindrical with a key, made from carbon steel or hot-rolled structural steel depending on the frame size.
Cooling and Enclosure:
The cooling system is TEWAC (Totally Enclosed Water to Air Cooled) with a heat exchanger mounted on top. The exchanger is designed for a pressure of 6 bar and can handle fresh or marine water. The enclosure provides a standard IP 55 protection, with IP 56 optional.
Stator and Rotor:
The stator/rotor core is laminated and enamel-insulated to minimize eddy-current losses. The rotor is a squirrel cage type, with construction varying based on machine size.
Bearings:
Bearings are antifriction, grease or oil lubricated, with a theoretical lifetime exceeding 50,000 hours. Special bearings can be designed for high radial and axial forces.
Insulation and Impregnation:
The stator is F class insulated, with H class available on request. Both stator and rotor are VPI treated with unsaturated polyester amide resin.
Optional Features:
Options include dual/multiple winding configurations, increased protection degree, special bearings, reinforced winding for VFD operation, and more.
