Specifications:
The PNCX connectors are designed for use in hazardous environments, compliant with ATEX 2014/34/UE Directive and various international standards including IEC 61984, IEC 60529, IEC 62262, EN/IEC 60079-0, EN/IEC 60079-7, and EN/IEC 60079-31. They also meet the European Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/UE and the French NF C 15-100 standard.

Applications:
Suitable for use in gas zones 1 and 2, and dust zones 21 and 22, the connectors are compact, easy to use, and have a long life of 2,000 operations. They are rated IP66/IP67 for protection against dust and water.

Electrical Features:
The connectors support a maximum voltage of 250 V, with an impulse withstand voltage of 5 kV and a pollution degree of 3. They have a contact resistance of less than 2 mΩ and support a current range of 4-20 mA/5 A. The connectors accept conductors from 0.75 mm² to 2.5 mm² with screwed terminals and accommodate cable diameters from 7 to 14 mm.

Climatic Features:
The connectors operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +70 °C. They offer IP66/IP67 protection when connected and IP69K protection at 100 bar (1450 PSI) and 80 °C. They are resistant to salt fog for a minimum of 200 hours when not connected and over 1,000 hours when connected. They also resist motor oils, petrol, oils, and detergents.

Mechanical Features:
The casing and insulator are made of glassfiber reinforced thermoplastic UL94 V-0. The butt contacts are made of copper alloy with silver-nickel tips, and contact protection is provided by tinning. The connectors are designed for over 2,000 load cycles, have a shock resistance of IK08, and can withstand vibrations from 5-1,000 Hz at 1 g according to IEC 60068-2-6.
