Modified Pigmentation for FX 934, Carmine Red Change of pigments for Ink series Maraflex FX for Credit Cards starting with batch 040 Colorimetry Our Colorimetry will integrate this new shade into our Marabu-ColorFormulator MCF, as well as recalculate all formulas for the MarabuColorManager MCM 2. The ink series is mostly used for the production of credit cards. Since constant colour shades are essential for this application and due to the quantity of special match formulations, the stability of the shade is subject to strict tests with very narrow tolerances. Improvement Exchanging the pigment is necessary to ensure constant shades for any batch even after longer storage periods. All the other characteristics, e.g. the degree of gloss, levelling and resistance will not be effected by this change. Shade deviation A deviation of the colour shade resulting from the pigment change was unavoidable. For special matches we recommend to check and adjust the colour match formula. (White letdown dE 3,5) Date of change-over We will start with the new formula by batch 040. From that time, you will also find an additional label on each can stating “Attention! Modified pigmentation“ in order to clearly emphasize this change. Please inform your customers accordingly!
