CMTS Data sheet System test bench for drum motors FEATURES This custom motor test bench is designed to test drum motors used to control conveyor belt rollers in which the outside mantel (stator) rotates around the fixed axis of the rotor. The system includes : - A heavy duty equipment rack - M-TEST 5.0 Motor Testing Software - A dynamometer table that can accommodate a cylinder transmission or splined shaft driven by a drum motor. - One HB-1751 (20 N·m) Hysteresis Brake - One 2PB-115 (200 N·m) Powder Brake Dynamometer - Two Torque Transducers (TM 308 and TM 313) TEST This test bench is capable of measuring torque ranges from several N·m to several hundred N·m. The data from the motor under test is aquired and managed using our M-TEST 5.0 Motor Testing Software. The drum motor under test is connected to a roller that has a different brake connected to each end: - An HB-1751 Hysteresis Brake to test at 20 N·m - A 2PB-115 Powder Brake to test at 200 N·m The tension band connecting the roller and the drum motor can be adjusted using the two set screws located on each side.
