Description

The MD-01 Series Force Transducers are designed for measuring static and dynamic compression loads using strain gauge technology. They provide an electrical signal proportional to the load or force measured. The transducer is easy to integrate into various applications due to its quick single-screw mounting.

Applications

Made entirely of stainless steel and hermetically sealed, the transducer can be used without restriction in various environments. It is ideal for applications requiring weight measurement, such as hoppers, silos, and platforms, when connected to a signal conditioner.

  • Mechanical Characteristics: Nominal Force options range from 200 N to 20 kN. Accuracy Class is 0.2. Admissible Overload is 120%, with an Overload Limit of 150% and Overload at Rupture over 300%. Maximum Dynamic Load is 70%. Flexion at Nominal Force is approximately 0.1 mm to 0.3 mm, depending on the model. Weight is approximately 0.3 kg.
  • Electrical Characteristics: Nominal Sensitivity is 2 mV/V ±0.5%. Bridge Impedance is 350 Ω for input and 700 Ω for output. Insulation Resistance is greater than 5 x 109 Ω. Nominal Supply Voltage ranges from 0.5 to 10 V. Combined Error (nonlinearity + hysteresis) is less than ±0.2%. Connection Cable is a PVC Cable, 1.5 m in length.
  • Environment: Reference Temperature is +23 °C. Operating Temperature (compensated) ranges from -10 °C to +60 °C, with a Usable Temperature Range from -40 °C to +80 °C. Temperature Influence on Zero or Sensitivity is less than ±0.01% / K. Protection Class is IP67.
