The BLQ series of permanent magnet brushless servomotors are engineered for high performance and reliability in industrial automation, requiring minimal maintenance. There are two motor series: one for generic applications with customizable options and another for high dynamic applications with compact dimensions. Both series utilize advanced neodymium-iron-boron magnets, ensuring sinusoidal B.E.M.F., compatibility with previous series, low inertia, high overload capacity, low torque cogging, and robust mechanical construction.
The motors come in three frame sizes (25-35-100) and support a maximum supply voltage of 3x205 VRMS for types BLQ 23, 33, and 103, and 3x345 VRMS for type 104. Consistent mechanical dimensions are maintained across the series. A ventilated version is available for BLQ 103 and 104 for applications needing high continuous torque at high speeds.
Key parameters include stall torque (Tn1 and Tn2), maximum torque (Tp), and maximum speed (nmax). The motors are designed to manage increased speed losses by adjusting continuous torque according to speed. Tables provide maximum speed values for different torque levels.
The motors incorporate specific bearings for shaft ends and offer brake options with varying braking torque, nominal current, and response times.
Various connection options are available, including power connections with terminal boxes and resolver connectors, tailored for different frame sizes.
Optional features include position transducers (resolver or encoder), parking/emergency brakes, encoder preparation, oil seal rings, and specific connection setups. Motors comply with UNEL 13501-69 standards for flange dimensions, with special executions available upon request.
Motors are typically protected to IP54 standards, with IP55 available upon request. They are painted with an epoxy primer in black or grey, with special painting cycles available.
An emergency brake with permanent magnets activates when voltage drops. The brake power supply is 24Vdc, and stall torque is reduced by 5% due to power losses.
Encoders are supplied with suitable coupling and flange. The BLQ 23 model has free cables, BLQ 33 uses MS connectors, and BLQ 103-104 models include a terminal box and resolver connector.
Coupling flange dimensions adhere to UNEL 13501-69 norms, with specific tolerances for concentricity and perpendicularity. Special executions are available upon request.
Performance graphs show continuous torque versus speed for different motor models and the admitted radial load for a theoretical bearing life of 20,000 hours.
