Product Characteristics & Benefits
The mageba TENSA®RAIL RSU expansion joints are designed for movements up to 350mm. They consist of steel edge profiles and an elastomeric sealing, ensuring a 100% waterproof system. For larger movements, a drainage channel is included. The joints are connected to the bridge superstructure using studs or loop anchorage, providing a permanent and fatigue-proof connection. A cover plate protects the joint gap from dirt and ballast.

Range of Application
These expansion joints are suitable for metro or railway bridges, with or without ballast. Ballast can be placed directly on the joint or on an insulation mat provided by mageba. The joints have received national approval in Austria according to RVS 15.04.51.
