Product Characteristics & Benefits
TENSA®GRIP expansion joints, specifically Types RS and RS-LS, are designed for robust performance in bridges with heavy traffic. They consist of steel edge profiles and replaceable elastomeric seals, suitable for both asphalted and concreted surfaces. These joints can handle movements up to 80 mm, extendable to 200 mm with special profiles. Type RS-LS includes 'sinus plates' to reduce noise by up to 80% and increase movement capacity to 100 mm.

Specifications & Options
Materials used include S235 steel for edge profiles and S355 steel for sinus plates, with EPDM or CR for sealing profiles. Corrosion protection adheres to ISO 12944 or national standards. The sinus plates ensure noise reduction and safe crossing for motorcycles and bicycles. The joints are 100% watertight, with replaceable sealing profiles.

Installation & Quality
Pre-assembled in the factory, the joints are installed on-site with precise positioning and anchorage. They can be installed in sections, with field splices prepared for on-site welding. mageba's quality system is ISO 9001:2008 certified, with regular inspections by independent institutes.
