Ultrasonic Level Sensors (U Series)-1

U Series Ultrasonic Level Sensors Madison Company offers a complete line of Standard models of advanced ultrasonic level measurement sensors for liquids and solids. These products continue to meet demanding applications in many markets, at competitive prices. In addition, Madison Company has the engineering capabilities to design these sensors for your specific non-contact level measurement needs, providing unique considerations for materials to be measured, vessel configuration and system interfacing. The microprocessor-based circuits provide a temperature-compensated signal for improved accuracy. All models have the ability to filter false echoes produced by peripheral obstructions. Space-saving models are available with remote sensors that can be separated from housings by up to 6 feet. Continuous level measurement can be provided in a range of 0.16’ to 30’ (0.049m to 9.1m) with several power and programmability options. Point level can also be obtained using a PLC (Industrial Programmable Controller). Measurement of solids requires the communcations option; when selecting a standard model for these cases, cut the range of the unit in half. U Series U3M “Mini Probe” Ultrasonic Level Sensors Madison Company’s “Mini Probe” is an addition to the full range of ultrasonic level sensors already offered. Its design is compact, extending just over 2” in height above the tank or drum surface, and it has an operating range of 4” to 6’ (0.10m to 1.8m). As with all of our standard Ultrasonic models, the U3M has a PVC housing that allows for an operating temperature range of -40˚C to 60˚C (-40˚F to 140˚F). This range can be increased to 80˚C (176˚F) with an optional CPVC housing or increased to 125˚C (257˚F) with an optional Kynar housing. U3M...
