JUPITER is a multifunction equipment intended to aid work such as cable connections and replacement. Used on unpo- wered low or high voltage networks, it will pre-identify the cable to be worked on, and the phases in the cable quickly and very reliably.The typical sequence of action using the JUPITER would be : •Cores confirmation (LI is connected to LI at the other end) •Cable pre-identification in the trench •Continuity test (which end of the now-cut cable is connected to the transmitter •Cores identification on the cut cable.
