Structure
The MAC 108/1 baler features a robust frame made from steel channel beams and thick steel plates, with HARDOX 500 liner plates for added durability. These liners are replaceable and cover the floor, side-walls, and top of the extrusion chamber.
Compaction Trolley
The trolley is constructed with thick steel alloy plates and reinforced with structural steel. It is guided by large steel rollers and travels on heat-treated steel wheels with sealed bearings. The design includes slots for tying needles and a steel scraper to prevent material buildup.
Hydraulic Power Unit
The hydraulic system uses a high-efficiency electric motor and a variable flow piston pump, which adjusts flow based on material resistance, reducing electrical consumption and enhancing efficiency.
Operating Principles
The baler operates with independent main and counter pressure circuits, using an electro-mechanical wire tying system for maximum efficiency and production.
Anti-Jamming System
The system features a hydraulic circuit design that allows for easy jam resolution by relaxing counter pressure at the push of a button.
Binding Unit
The patented wire-tying unit is constructed with high tensile steel and waterproof bearings, ensuring reliability. It rotates 90 degrees for easy maintenance.
Additional Features
Includes side inspection and maintenance doors, soundproofing, dust protection cabin, and Siemens PC diagnostics.
