Preferred pipe connection arrangements are flanges although couplings may also be used in some cases. Alternate flange arrangements are standard raised face (SRF) or Macawber alignment flanges (MAF). SRF may be used where strict pipe alignment is not required for the conveying process offered. MAF must be used for good pipe alignment to support the conveying process offered. Flange patterns may be any international standard. Normally, standard pipework is employed with SRF or MAF. Wear rates are very low due to the unique material flow velocity characteristics of the Denseveyor® system. Installed pipework should be rigidly restrained to prevent axial movement. Pipework is supplied to site without flanges attached. If installation of pipework is by customer's sub-contractor, adequate alignment of the pipe is the responsibility of the customer.
