It is complementary to our dense phase, low wear material transfer of granular sand. The elbow is designed to minimize wear in the heal of the bend where the wall is commonly first compromised. Sand will fill the cavity of the elbow and protect the wall of the bend by material conveying on itself rather than deteriorating the elbow. It is a compact, easily installed fitting for redirecting the pipe system. The fitting's compact size ensures easy pipework erection and simplified planning for pipework supports and routing.
