Overview: The thermorex® TRO/TRP is a transfer pump designed for the efficient and reliable feeding of oligomers and prepolymers in polymer processes. It features excellent fill behavior, optimized flow channels, and a compact design, making it suitable for low-viscosity applications without the need for pressurized vessels or reactors.

Technical Specifications:

• Materials: Housing and cover made of stainless steel; gear shafts of nitrided/tool steel; bearings of tool steel/special materials.
• Shaft Seals: Options include stuffing box, vispac®, single or double mechanical seal, vislip®, and magnetic coupling.
• Pump Heating: Heated with oil up to 350°C or with steam up to 40 bar.
• Installation: Can be flanged directly under the reactor or mounted in-line.
• Viscosity: TRO up to 5 Pas; TRP up to 60 Pas.
• Temperature: Up to 350°C.
• Suction Side: Operates under vacuum or with an admission pressure up to 10 bar.
• Delivery Side: Discharge pressure up to 160 bar.

Typical Pumping Media: Includes cellulose acetate, elastomers, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, polyacrylicnitrile, polyamide, polycarbonate, polybutylene teraphthalate, polyethylene teraphthalate, polymethylmethacrylate, polypropylene, polystyrene (incl. ABS, EPS), polysulphone, silicone, SBR latex, and others.

Additional Information: Higher viscosities and larger pump sizes are available upon request. Flange connections comply with DIN or ANSI standards. The maximum flow capacity and discharge pressure depend on the characteristics of the pumping medium.
