UV LED Screen Print Curing System And Conveyor Dryer M&R’s Photon is the finest UV LED cure system available, and it represents a revolutionary advance over ferric/iron oxide, gallium, and mercury vapor light sources. Photon’s UV LEDs run cool (very little heat is transferred to substrates), consume less power, last longer (up to 25,000 hours), and increase conveyor belt longevity. Photon’s sheet sensor automatically turns LEDs on and off to further reduce power consumption. A powerful turbine holds down even lightweight substrates while the chamber is air cooled. LED temperature output is so low that cooling can be provided by the building’s ambient air. Since Photon’s UV LEDs run cool and generate no ozone, heating and cooling costs are reduced and exhaust air doesn’t have to be vented outside. And since it has no reflectors or rotating lamps, Photon is easier to clean and maintain. Photon’s variable-frequency AC-drive motor powers M&R’s Tefloncoated fiberglass Patriot Belt™ with the SureTrak™ roller system (U.S. Patents Pending: SN 15194035 & 15265538). The red flexible bead stitched along one edge of the Patriot Belt rides in grooves machined into the large anodized aluminum SureTrak rollers. It’s the most precise dryer belt tracking available.
