Vapor-Flow® Steam Blanchers
The Vapor-Flow® Steam Blancher, developed in 1999, is a versatile system that can switch between water and steam cooking. This system uses 50% less energy and 90% less water compared to traditional methods, enhancing recovery by 1% to 4% by preserving more solids and nutrients.

Design and Functionality

The blancher features a tilting cover for easy cleaning and a cylinder with a perforated skin sheet for steam injection.
It includes a Clean-In-Place system for internal cleaning and a flume and gravity chute for product feeding and exit.

Capacity and Applications
The capacity of the Vapor-Flow® Steam Blancher varies based on size and blanch time, with a maximum of 70,000 pounds per hour for certain configurations. It is suitable for processing a variety of vegetables including dry beans, corn, green beans, peas, kale, spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, and peppers.
