CMC7 AND CMC8 SERIES

CMC7 AND CMC8 SERIES

Product catalog summary
Overview: The CMC7 and CMC8 series are low-cost insertion conductivity cells designed for pure water measurement applications. They are valued for their cost-effectiveness and compact size, with the cell constant unaffected by sample volume or nearby pipework. Certification can be provided for these cells.
CMC7 Series: Molded in epoxy resin with three impregnated graphite electrodes, the CMC7 cells come with a 6-meter connection cable. They have a cell constant of K=1.0 or K=10.0, with a maximum operating temperature of 90°C and pressure of 100 psi. Temperature compensation is provided by PT1000.
CMC8 Series: These cells are injection molded in polypropylene and feature different configurations:
  • CMC8/001/PT43: Uses stainless steel coaxial electrodes with a cell constant of K=0.0135, suitable for low pressure and temperature applications. It includes PT1000 temperature compensation and comes with either a 2 or 10-meter cable.
  • CMC8/01: Features impregnated carbon electrodes with a cell constant of K=0.1, available with a 2 or 10-meter cable. It is non-temperature compensated.
  • CMC8/10: Similar to CMC8/01 but with a cell constant of K=1.0, suitable for readings up to 1000 mS/cm.
Specifications: The CMC8 series cells have a maximum operating temperature of 50°C and pressure of 3.3 bar (50 psi). They require no initial or periodic calibration, with maintenance limited to cleaning electrode surfaces.
Order Codes: Various configurations are available, with differences in cell constants, temperature compensation, and cable lengths. The order codes specify these variations for easy identification and purchase.
Compliance: These products comply with current European Directives, and LTH Electronics Ltd reserves the right to make changes to the product or data sheet without notice.

CMC7 AND CMC8 SERIES-1

CMC7 AND CMC8 SERIES Low Cost Insertion Conductivity Cells Features • Competitively priced • Integral connection cable • In line mounting The CMC7 and CMC8 series of insertion conductivity cells are suitable for use in pure water measurement applications where cost and size are important factors. The principle advantage of this type of construction is that the cell constant is not affected by sample volume or the proximity of any pipework. The conductivity cells can be supplied with traceable certification. The CMC7 conductivity cell is moulded in epoxy resin with three impregnated graphite electrodes and is fitted with 6 metres of connection cable. The CMC8/001/PT43 conductivity cell is injection moulded in Polypropylene and uses two stainless steel coaxial electrodes and has a cell constant of K=0.0135. The cell is supplied complete with an integral 2 metre or 10 metre connection cable and features built in PT1000 temperature compensation. This cell is suitable for use on low pressure, low temperature pure water applications.
