1951 Lohmann celebrates its centenary. Production is systematically expanded to include technical adhesive tapes. It was with graphical plate mounting that Lohmann made inroads into the printing industry in the 50s. 1949 Lohmann succeeds in becoming the first company to put binder-free, non-woven textiles into production. 1944 A new procedure for the consolidation of non-woven textiles (fleece) is developed to series-production readiness. 1938 Lohmann starts to manufacture double-sided adhesive tapes.
