Double-sided foam tape with special developed adhesive system for bonding on glass without pre-treatment (Activator) Product construction Name Polyethylene film Adhesive covered side Special adhesive Polyethylene foam Adhesive open side Pure acrylic Total thickness: approx. 1,60 Product advantages  The special developed adhesive system on the covered side enables a bonding on glass without pre-treatment (Activator).  The pure acrylic adhesive on the open side is characterized by a very good final adhesion and an excellent resistance against temperature, UV and weathering.  DuploCOLL® 92115 G with its compressible foam carrier is better in compensating component tolerances than hard foamed systems. The better surface wetting results in better adhesion.  The permanently elastic polyethylene foam allows the compensation of linear expansions due to different thermal coefficient of expansion of the substrates.
