The operator is obliged to stop work immediately if someone is within the risk zone. Chain shot When a saw chain breaks, parts of the saw chain can be thrown out at high speeds. If saw chain breaks with a whiplash, the speed of these parts may be several times higher than the speed of the saw chain. Danger! Chain shots are associated with danger to life! The energy in the event of chain shot can be equivalent to that of a bullet from a rifle. It is therefore essential to follow the instructions regarding the use of the head and maintenance of the saw unit.

When activating the saw unit, the head must be positioned so that there is no risk of chain shots hitting: • people outside the risk zone. • other machines. • other property.
