Overview: The Log Max 6000B is a lightweight forestry head designed for final felling, particularly suitable for large wheeled carriers. It combines low weight with high power, built on proven hydraulics.
Specifications: The head features a height of 1,682 mm (66.2 inches) and a weight of 1,299 kg (2,864 lbs), including feed rollers and a damped protection plate. It operates with a sound effect of 110 dB, measured according to EN ISO 3744:2009.
Feeding System: The system includes two hydraulically driven rollers mounted on radial piston motors, available in 857cc or 934cc (52.3 cu.in or 56.7 cu.in). The feed force is 26.9 kN standard and 29.3 kN optional, with feed speeds of 4.2 m/sec standard and 3.9 m/sec optional. The maximum roller opening is 625 mm (24.6 inches).
Cutting and Delimbing: The bar length allows for a maximum cut capacity of up to 82 cm (32.3 inches), with a cutting capacity of up to 72 cm (28.3 inches). The maximum full coverage delimbing diameter is 500 mm (19.7 inches). Minimum hydraulic requirements are 200 l/min (52.8 gpm).
Control Systems: Compatible with MAXI, DASA4, MOTOMIT, TM300, Log Mate 402, and CabsWin systems.
Design Features: The feed rollers are designed to work perpendicular to the tree, minimizing friction losses and ensuring accurate length measurement for high-quality timber. The maximum hydraulic pressure is 260 bar (3,771 psi) with a maximum flow of 280 l/min (74 gpm).
Optional Equipment: Includes an accumulation kit, auto chain tensioner, eucalyptus equipment, fixed protection plate, field repair kit, color marking, hose holder, hydraulic upper knife, rotator control, find end sensor, and snow cover.
