Introduction
Log Max has introduced an Accumulation Kit designed to enhance the functionality of Log Max Heads. This kit allows the heads to operate both as conventional harvesters and as multi-stemming heads, suitable for thinning smallwood or late brush cuttings.

The Accumulation Kit is compatible with Log Max 3000/4000, 5000, 6000, and 7000 series. It can be operated using various control systems, including Log Mate 402, Motomit, CabsWin, and Dasa 380.

Accumulation Process

The head grips the first tree.
Main knives and accumulation arms close to cut the tree.
Main knives open, the head grips the second tree while accumulation arms hold the first trunk.
Main knives close to cut the second tree, and spring-loaded arms collect the second trunk.
Accumulation arms close, main knives open.
The head is ready to grip and cut the third tree.
